The Companion for Voice Teachers

Soniva: a calm, professional workspace for one-to-one vocal tuition.

Soniva helps singing teachers capture lesson notes, manage repertoire, track student progress, and share recordings - all in one quiet, considered place.

What Soniva does

Everything a singing teacher needs, nothing they don’t.

Student management

A permanent Teaching Record for every student: a single, calm source of truth for everything you work on together.

Lesson workspace

Capture check-in notes, today’s focus, exercises, and repertoire as the lesson unfolds. Everything autosaves.

Repertoire & exercises

Build your library once with teaching notes, ranges, and audio. Reuse it across every student, with no re-typing each week.

Vocal Diary

Record vocal clips straight from your browser. They’re shared with students through their portal, labelled and annotated.

Calendar sync

Connect Google Calendar so students can request lessons within your availability, with bookings synced to your calendar.

Student portal

A private, focused view for each student: their lesson history, homework, repertoire, and recordings.

How we use your data

Transparency about every connection.

Google Calendar access

When you connect your calendar, Soniva reads your events to show your schedule and creates events for confirmed lesson bookings. We request only the scopes needed (calendar events) and never access your emails, contacts, or other Google data.

Private by design

Each teacher’s data is siloed: your students, lessons, and notes are visible only to you. Student portals are protected by a private access code and show only what you choose to share.

Minimal, optional student data

You only need a first name to create a student profile. No email addresses, phone numbers, or personal details are required. Many teachers use a first name or alias alone, and the full workflow works without ever collecting sensitive information.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. Your teaching notes are never analysed, never used for AI training, and never seen by anyone but you. Recordings and documents are stored securely and only ever accessible to you and the student they belong to.
